Agricultural/Commercial Loan Officer Assistant

Our Gothenburg loan team has a unique opportunity for a motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented employee with proven customer service skills. This role will assist Agricultural and Commercial Loan Officers with loan documentation, data entry, and customer interactions to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing. The ideal candidate will need to be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and be able to balance a variety of projects at one time. The scope of responsibility for this position includes:

Essential Functions:

• Provide legendary customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist lending officers in gathering and organizing loan documentation from customers.
• Prepare and review loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Enter and maintain loan data in the bank’s system.
• Communicate with customers, appraisers, and title companies to facilitate the loan processing.
• Monitor loan files to ensure all required documents are received and compliant with bank regulatory policies.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and handling correspondence.
• Stay up to date on agricultural and commercial lending practices and banking regulations.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Banking experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right applicant for the position.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to quickly learn new software.
• Understanding of the agricultural industry is a plus.

Schedule: On-Site, 8-Hour Shift, Monday-Friday
